Betty Boo Announces UK Tour
Betty Boo has revealed her plans for her first tour in the UK.
Celebrating Her Debut Album
The “Doin’ The Do” star will be re-releasing her debut album from 1990, “Boomania,” later this month, and as part of the celebration, she will embark on a tour this summer.
The tour kicks off at Dover Borning Hall on June 5, where the singer will perform songs from her debut album alongside tracks from her 1992 release, “Grrr! It’s Betty Boo,” as well as her later works, including “Boomerang” and last year’s “Rip The Rule Book.” The tour will conclude at Bedford Esquires on June 28.
Tickets for the shows will be available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. on Friday (April 4) and can be bought here.

She released two albums before stepping back from her solo career.
She has continued to write songs for other pop artists, including the likes of Girls Aloud, contributing to hits such as “Pure and Simple,” “The Promise,” “Boogie Down Love,” and “Love Bomb” from their 2003 album “Sound of the Underground.”
In an interview with NME about her work with Girls Aloud, she stated: “Working with them felt a bit like being in a football team, everyone wanted to shine without overshadowing anyone else. I had one experience where a mother came into the studio asking, ‘Can you turn my daughter’s microphone up?’”
More recently, she returned to the studio for her 2022 album “Boomerang” and last year’s “Rip The Rulebook.”
