Yungblud Launches New Single
Yungblud has made a comeback with his latest nine-minute single “Hello Heaven, Hello,” marking his first release of the year.
Music Video Debut
The newest track from the Doncaster artist is accompanied by a music video directed by Charlie Sarsfield, which premiered on MTV channels and the Paramount Times Square advertising screens.
“Hello Heaven, Hello is an entrance statement for my new album,” Yungblud explains. “This journey is about self-promotion, saying goodbye to the past and how you might have perceived me before, and embracing the future and the path I’m taking. This sets the tone for this album. It’s an adventure that becomes more ambitious than ever, and at this point in my career, releasing a nine-minute and six-second track as my first move of the year might be perceived as a ‘risk’—but I don’t see it that way. To me, risk is the greatest tool for artists; it involves putting everything on the line in the pursuit of the best evolution and artistic expression. Without risk, there are no breakthroughs—just the exploration of the past, present, and future, and most importantly, of myself. This album feels magical to me, and it all begins here. Where, damn it, do we ultimately end up? Let’s find out. Dreaming on a horse. Let’s go.
The track was originally conceived four years ago, during the promotion of his 2020 album, Weird, and before the release of his 2022 project.
Additionally, Yungblud has announced the return of his curated festival, Bludfest, which will take place at the national bowl in Milton Keynes this year.
