The singer, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, shared an update during a recent interview with Daily Star, expressing that the incident in the French capital marked a significant turning point in his life.

“I was hit by a car, which was quite the experience. I had a brief fall,” he detailed (via Metro), adding that this incident helped him realize he was excessively passionate about “a lot of nonsense” that ultimately wasn’t important.

Reassessing Priorities

Discussing how the incident prompted him to reassess his priorities, he noted that he has been working on “reassessing” himself and being more present for those who matter. “I became the best brother, the best son, the best partner, and the best friend,” he mentioned.

This update comes shortly after the singer released a surprise single titled “Hello Heaven, Hello,” showcasing a new image.

Since then, he has performed three new tracks at an unexpected show in Scala, London, including “Return,” “Lovesick Lullaby,” and “Zombie.”

Future Music Plans

Despite this latest update, little is known about his upcoming album. The specifics regarding the title, structure, and release date remain unclear, although the artist has hinted at several themes over recent months.

For instance, in December, he shared with NME that it would likely be a double album, expressing pride in his work, which stirred fans to engage on social media. He also spoke with Apple Music and expanded on how he drew inspiration from classic rock.

“I listened to a lot of old-school music, returning to artists like Bonnie Wright and Linda Ronstadt, along with Led Zeppelin and even Elton John,” he explained. “Rock is my genre. I’ve indulged in a variety of influences and tried to innovate within rock, yet this moment feels particularly exciting because rock music needs to sound grand and cinematic.”

Later this summer, Harrison is set to headline the second edition of his own festival, Bludfest, which will also feature acts such as Chase Atlantic, Denzel Curry, BlackBear, and NME cover stars Rachel Chonovori and Persik. Visit here for tickets.
