Yungblud’s New Music Debut
Yungblud debuted three new songs during his intimate SCALA Show surprise last night (March 21).
The special London concert followed the singer, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, sharing his first new music of 2025 with a single titled “Hello Heaven, Hello,” along with his first song “Breakdown” and a teaser for what will be his first album of 2022.
Concert Highlights
Earlier this week, he informed fans about the concert, stating he would “perform a couple of songs from the new album.” Last night, he kicked off the setlist with four songs starting with “Hello Heaven, Hello”—then he proceeded to X/Twitter to share the reaction to the song “Well as Magic.”
Addressing the crowd at the venue, he exclaimed: “Damn, it is good to be back” before asking, “Are you ready to hear songs from a new entry?” He then launched into his Brit-Pop inspired track, “LovingCick Lullaby.”
Following that, he gave the “zombie” its live debut and wrapped up the set with “ghosts,” urging the audience to savor the moment. “London, can I ask you a favor?” he said. “Can you please put away your phones? This song is about understanding your mortality, because we don’t f*** around for a long time… Don’t forget to live!”

1 – “Hello, heaven, hello”
2 – ‘Lovingics Lullaby’
3 – ‘zombie’
4 – Ghosts
Currently, little is known about his upcoming album, though Yungblud has dropped numerous hints in recent months. Last December, he informed NME that this would likely be a double album, and he expressed pride in the notes, urging fans to engage on social media again.
More recently, Harrison spoke with Apple Music and provided detailed insights into the recording process. This includes pushing boundaries in terms of what fans can expect, inspired by some of rock’s biggest names.
“I’ve been listening to a lot of old-school music, revisiting artists like Bonnie Wright and Linda Ronstadt, Led Zeppelin, and even Elton John,” he said. “Rock is my genre. I feel that I’ve indulged in many different things and am aiming to twist rock; it feels exciting because rock music seems to be taking on a new shape… It needs to sound massive and cinematic.”
He also conveyed his satisfaction with the final result, describing it as a “cultural reset” for him.
Commenting on the influence of Led Zeppelin, Yungblud shared in March last year with NME, citing Oasis, Guns N’ Roses, My Chemical Romance, David Bowie, and Madonna as inspirations.
Harrison emphasized that the mantra of the record will be: “Follow, look at each other, be a person,” contrasting this with the sentiment, “F*** you, this is the world as we know it.”
Touching on his conceptual album idea, he continued: “This is ‘Tommy,’ this is ‘Quadrophenia’ (The Who). This is ‘A Night at the Opera’ (Queen). This is ‘The Black Parade’ (My Chemical Romance). These are ‘city anthems.’ This is something I’ve intended to accomplish from the very start, and while it’s been challenging, it’s also gratifying.”
In other Yungblud news, this summer, the Doncaster singer is set to perform at the second installment of his own Bludfest festival, which will also feature Chase Atlantic, Denzel Curry, BlackBear, former NME Cover star Rachel Chinouriri, and PEACH PRC. Click here for tickets.
