Surprising Moment at Grammy 2025

The manufacturer of West Yorkshire Abraham Moon and the Sons Mill expressed his “full surprise” upon learning that Billie Eilish sported a baseball cap made from their fabric at the Grammy 2025.

During the 67th Grammy ceremony, held in Los Angeles last weekend (February 2), the singer donned a yellow sports T-shirt and a LA Dodgers hat adorned with two small Union flags and the word “Luna” embroidered on the side panel.

Legacy of Abraham Moon and Sons

The logo on the hat belongs to Abraham Moon and Sons, one of the last remaining woolen mills in the UK. Established in 1837, the company creates a fabric that is supplied to top fashion designers and interior decorators across the globe. Although not all products featuring Moon fabric showcase their logo, Eilish’s Dodgers hat thankfully did.

Commenting on this memorable moment, Moon’s brand and project director Joe McCann stated in an interview with Bi-bi-x: “It’s wonderful to see such a traditional fabric used in such a contemporary manner.”

He added, “The whole office was buzzing with excitement. It was completely unexpected for us, and it was fantastic to see Billie wearing it. Having respected artists and influencers wear our products makes a significant difference for a company like ours.”

Eilish’s Grammy Journey

Following the ceremony, Finneas took to his official Instagram stories to encourage fans to avoid “fighting with fans of other artists in the comments” after Eilish did not secure any of the seven awards for which she was nominated, despite having a total of nine previous wins and 31 nominations over the years.

Eilish was among numerous stars who applauded rapper Dochi’s performance, which was one of the standout moments of the night. The crowd, including Jay-Z, SZA, and Eilish, showed great enthusiasm, with Eilish noticeably moved when the camera caught her exclaiming, “My God!”
