Jacob Slater and his band took to their official Instagram page to share their inability to join the Dublin rockers for this series of performances.

“We want to thank Fontaines DC for taking us on this journey. We are grateful and humbled to have been offered such a wonderful opportunity, but due to unforeseen personal circumstances, we are unable to make the trip in March,” they stated.

Support Act and Ticket Information

Wunderhorse also announced that Shame will fill the opening spot on the tour. They added: “We will have news about rescheduled release dates very soon. Tickets purchased for the main shows will remain valid. If you are unable to attend the new dates, a refund will be available at the time of purchase. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope to see you at our rescheduled shows in Australia and New Zealand.”

Upcoming Projects and Festivals

The tour supports their second album “Midas”. Featuring a four-star review from NME, the LP has been hailed as a “master class in business evolution.”

“While this debut album focused on Slater finally becoming the songwriter he had the potential to be, his follow-up album reworks and refines his strong storytelling,” the review noted. “Here, the frontman enriches his lyrics and combines them with the chaotic energy brought by his bandmates and the unity between them.”

“Although this is supposed to be a second album, ‘Midas’ feels like a new beginning for a band that has found its way as a true team. It may only be their second album, but it looks like Wunderhorse’s journey will continue to thrive.”

Later this year, Wunderhorse will tour the UK, headlining London’s Alexandria Palace in what promises to be their biggest show to date.

They will also perform at various summer festivals, including Neighborhood Weekender, Truck Festival, Victorious Festival, TRNSMT, and Bilbao BBK.
