About Woodkid
Yoann Lemoine, known as Woodkid, is a French music director notable for his work on iconic videos for artists such as Harry Styles, Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry. In addition to these collaborations, he has released two studio albums and several individual singles.

Previously, Woodkid collaborated with Hideo Kojima on “Goliath,” which was used for the Death Guard: Director. “Our first conversation occurred in Paris. We met around my music and discussed the gaming industry. We found parallels in our experiences and talked about his vision for the future of creation,” Lemoine stated in 2022. “We also discussed the significance of time and rhythm in creating art, which can be almost political, as it requires patience and is not rushed.”
Earlier this year, it was reported that Woodkid has been working on an orchestral score for Death Guard 2: On the Beach since 2022. While speaking at SXSW, he mentioned that he drew inspiration for the music from the “knowledge of the game.”
On the weekend, it was confirmed that a Death concert tour will take place at the end of this year.
“Strands of Harmony” will feature a live orchestra performing music from both the original game and its upcoming sequel. “The music ranges from intimate ballads and synthesized waves to climactic orchestral hymns. I look forward to bringing this eclectic musical experience to life with arrangements designed to elevate each piece into a complete orchestral atmosphere,” said composer Ludwich Mosell. “I also hope we can take you on a journey with Sam Porter Bridges, as the story and music evolve from the first game into its continuation.”
