Winona Fighter Releases Debut Album “My Abode is to the Chef”

Winona Fighter’s Debut Album Release

Winona Fighter has launched their debut album titled “My Apologies to the Chef” under Wia Rise Records, accompanied by a new music video for one of its tracks.

Band Members and Recording Process

The Nashville trio consists of frontwoman and multi-instrumentalist Coco Kinnon, leading guitarist Dan Fuzon, and bassist/producer Austin Luther. They recorded a 14-track album in their home studio.

“This is the madness that our debut LP ‘My Apologies for the Chef – Provar’ has officially been released. We can’t even express in words how excited and proud we are,” says Kinnon. “Our amazing Rise Label Records allowed us to embrace our approach to album recording. The process felt like a dream. It was just me, Dan, and Austin in our home studio from preliminary production all the way to mastering.”

Insights on Latest Single

Discussing their latest single, “Talk,” Kinnon explains: “Conversation” encapsulates the feeling of your name constantly being on someone else’s lips. The more attention we garner, the more we become targets for trolls, unsafe individuals, and even fellow artists who seek to undermine us with misinformation. It’s a wild scene out here, and we’ve managed to navigate through it.”

The album follows their 2022 EP “Father Figure,” featuring three tracks from that release: “Subaru,” “You Look Like Drunk Phoebe Bridgers,” and “Wlbrn ST TVRN,” which have been reworked for the new album. Additionally, the album includes previously released singles “Ru Famous,” “Attention,” “Come on God, (Good),” and “I’m in the Market So As Not to Please Anyone.”
