Highlights from the Performance

The Hyperpop producer took to the Gobi stage on Friday (April 18), featuring a set dominated by tracks from his 2024 solo album “Britpop,” while also incorporating collaborations like Charlie XCX’s “Von Dutch” to close the show.

One of the standout moments was Kesha’s surprise appearance midway through the set, where they performed the remix of Cook’s recent single “Yippi-ki-yai,” a collaboration with T-Pain.

Upcoming Projects and Performances

Cook’s performance last weekend at Coachella also featured Danny Brown as a guest, who showcased “Attak,” his collaboration from 2014’s Rusty, along with the fan-favorite Charlie’s “Part 4 U.”

Cook released his triple album “Britpop” last year, earning a stellar five-star review from NME. Writer Tilly Folks described his ability to intertwine genuine emotional issues with hypnagogic sounds as sensational, crafting an auditory experience that balances the real world with something beautifully glossy.
