K-pop girl group ITZY has unveiled a cover of the Wonder Girls’ 2011 single “Be My Baby.”

Special Christmas Eve Release
On Christmas Eve, the five-member girl group dropped a special video showcasing their performance of the Wonder Girls’ iconic hit “Be My Baby.” The music video offers a glimpse of ITZY in the studio recording the cover, along with footage of them dancing together to the song.
“Please be my baby, please be my baby / Every time I think about you I go crazy / ‘Cause I want you / Make me your lady, make me your lady / I’ll give you my love and I will never make you regret, no,– they sing in unison.
About “Be My Baby” and ITZY’s Recent Activities
“Be My Baby” serves as the title track from the Wonder Girls’ second studio album, *Wonder World*, and is one of several hits from the now-disbanded JYP Entertainment girl group. The song was penned and produced by Park Jin Young, the founder of the company.
Earlier in October, ITZY released their ninth mini-album *GOLD*, marking their return as a quintet after the vocalist Leah’s extended hiatus due to health reasons. The album features the title track of the same name, along with the promotional B-side “Imaginary Friend,” for which the band quickly released a music video post-launch. *GOLD* also includes re-recorded versions of tracks from their January EP *Born to Be*, largely crafted during Leah’s absence.
In other K-pop news, lead singer Chung Ha has premiered the music video for her festive track, “There Comes Santa Claus!” This holiday visual features notable cameos from several K-pop stars, including former members of her project girl group IOI.
