Foundation Reunites After Eight Years
Hardcore band Foundation recently made a comeback, performing together for the first time in eight years. Check out the footage below.
The straight edge group from Atlanta had not played as a unit since their farewell show at The Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 30, 2016, a year following the release of their last EP, Turncoat.
Post-disbandment, Foundation members went on to play in bands like Slow Fire Gun, Candy, Abuse of Power, Criminal Instinct, and others.
Upcoming Performances at FYA Fest
They appear to be back in action with a headlining performance scheduled for FYA Fest in Tampa, Florida, this weekend.
Prior to this gig, they officially reunited on December 28 at The Drunken Unicorn in Atlanta. To celebrate the occasion, they played all five tracks from Turncoat, along with several songs from their 2011 album When The Smoke Clears. Check out the footage below.
Fans shared their thoughts on the reunion concert, with one commenting: “2013 was the last time I saw @foundationatl. I had almost given up hope of ever seeing a reunion show, but tonight I was able to attend THIS reunion show. An incredibly special night. An incredibly special group. Welcome.”
Another fan added: “This is so important to Atlanta.”
