Haley Williams Performs with Ken Andrews
Haley Williams recently joined Ken Andrews, the frontman of the band Failure, for a performance during a concert aimed at raising funds in Los Angeles. Fans captured moments from their exciting collaboration, which added a special touch to the evening.
Special Acoustic Performances
Last month, it was announced that on February 5 at the Hollywood Palladium, several musicians would gather for the G*Ve Af*CK concert to raise funds for organizations aiding recovery after devastating wildfires.
During the concert, Haley Williams delivered two acoustic numbers: a cover of “Daylight” and “All Is Full of Love” by Björk. To elevate the performances even further, her long-time musical idol Ken Andrews joined her on stage.
Together, they performed the classic song “Daylight” from 1996, eliciting loud applause from the audience. Both artists played acoustic guitars and sang in unison. Before the performance, Williams introduced Andrews by saying, “I want to introduce someone really special and important to me. This is Ken Andrews from the band Failure. Their music inspired me and my bandmates like Zak (Farro) and Taylor (York). It was Failure that made me want to be in a band and play guitar.”
“When I thought about what to do for this show, I was anxious about performing alone. I listened to Failure last week and realized, ‘Why haven’t I played any of their songs?’ So, thanks for allowing me to share two songs that I truly love.”

Williams then put down her guitar to announce they would perform Björk’s “Is It a Dream,” adding, “This is who I pray to now.”

Haley Williams has previously expressed her admiration for both Failure and Björk. In 2022, she played a significant role in the trailer for the documentary “Refusal.” Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, she also shared several cover songs by Björk.
Ken Andrews, from Failure, worked on Paramore’s fourth studio album, released in 2013. The band also covered “Stuck on You,” a track by The Summer Tic from 2006.
In other news, at the end of December last year, Haley Williams hinted at the possibility of solo shows in 2025, five years after she originally intended to perform. Her first solo studio album, “Petals for Armor,” was released in May 2020, and she had planned to tour in support of it in the UK and Europe, but those plans were postponed due to the pandemic.
Since then, she released her second solo record, “Flowers for Vases / Descansos,” in 2021; however, she has not yet held a series of solo shows to back any of her releases.
