“We really did not know how important Ed Sullivan was; we hadn’t heard about him,” McCartney shares in the video. “By the time we got to America, it was the coolest thing. But when we went to this show, we did not realize its significance. This was just another television show, we thought.”

Following the exhibition, photographs signed by McCartney will be available for purchase, with expected prices ranging from $15,000 to $90,000 (approximately £11,000 to £68,000). Proceeds will support those affected by the devastating wildfires in California.

Additional Beatles News

In other Beatles nostalgia news, an early magnetic cassette recorded by the group in 1962 was discovered in the Vancouver Neptoon Records store.

McCartney has also recently revealed details of a new book titled Wings: The History of the Group on the Run, described as “an inspiring, stereo celebration of songs, collaboration, and performances that would shape the soundtrack of the late 20th century.” The book will feature countless previously inaccessible photographs.

Additionally, he hinted that he hopes to complete a new solo album this year and recently performed three surprise intimate concerts in New York.
