New single release
UCHE YARA has unveiled her latest single for 2024, 'when I left the room', a piano-driven ballad that reveals a new dimension to her musical range.
Recent projects and performances
This release follows her five-track EP “honey”, which was launched earlier this month. The Austrian multi-instrumentalist’s recent works come after performances at Pitchfork London, Wilderness, Great Escape, MELT! Festival, Europavox, Dockville, and Island Airwaves.
Reflection on the track
Discussing “when I left the room”, UCHE shares: “To be honest, I was quite unsure if I should give up on this track because it’s the first and only piano ballad I’ve ever written and it shows so many different facets. It took me four years to decide, should I give it up or not? But here it is.”
