Tyler, the Creator shared the changes he would make if he were president and said he would set his sights on podcasts.

The discussion took place during a new interview with Billboard in which Tyler took part along with Rembert Brown. During one part of the conversation, they focused on modern entertainment and the popularity of podcasts.
The artist doesn’t seem to have a very pleasant view of the ever-growing number of podcasts, as he said that if he were in power, it would be the first thing he would want to crack down on.
«Если бы я был президентом, первое, что я бы сделал, — это отобрал микрофоны для подкастов у ниггеров», — объяснил он.
This isn’t the first time the See You Again singer has spoken out about modern forms of interviewing. Last November, he also spoke with “The Human Serviette” Nardwuar at his Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival and explained how he wants the “gossip” style approach to interviews to start dying out.
Focus on Music
“Music is my favorite thing and I can talk about it all day,” he said. “But we're at a point where a musician you know from music is being interviewed on a music platform, talking at length about music – about his passion and what he's known for – and people are asking, 'Why does he keep doing this?' What?'”
“But, you know, if I was here gossiping or talking about so-and-so who has beef, then people would feed off of it. And he was like, “No, we need to get back to talking about music.”
It was during his discussion with Nardwuar that Tyler also threw shade at some channels, including Hot and Buying sneakers.
“We need to stop sneaker shopping or deepthroating hot wings for an hour. Tell us about your album. Talk about music. Talk about 15 songs that you guys spent time mixing and mastering, putting your heart and soul into, producing and doing all of this,” he said.
“And then when the album comes out and sells two copies, everyone gets confused. But it seems like they don’t want to talk about the music or the album; they’d rather go eat chicken wings and buy sneakers, damn it.”
He later shared another statement after the interview and apologized to host Sean Evans. “This seems like a slight towards the show, which I don’t feel, but it really should have been used as a broader example that came to mind when I was trying to get my point across,” he wrote.
“I could name one podcast/publication that actually promotes more negative things, but I haven’t at this point. So Sean, you didn’t really deserve the energy coming out, that wasn’t my intention at all, although the phrase 'deep throat chick' sounds funny to me.”
Tyler, The Creator shared his latest album, Chropmakopia, in late October, and it received a three-star review from the magazine NME.
“There is beauty in (the album’s) chaos—the sensibility of “Hey Jane,” the infectious hip-hop of “Thought I Was Dead,” the swelling cacophony of horns and percussion on “I Killed You.” But perhaps a less crazy approach would have benefited the listening experience as a whole,” the post reads.
