DJ Alfredo passes away
DJ Alfredo, a prominent figure in the Ibiza dance scene, has sadly passed away at the age of 71.
The news was confirmed by Amnesia club, where he had a significant presence in the 1980s. On Instagram, they expressed: “Thank you for the nights and beats we spent together. Your music and vision shaped the sound of Balearic Beat and the soul of Amnesia. So many memories were created through your energy that your legacy will live on our dance floor forever. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Alfredo.”
Health struggles and legacy
The cause of his death has not been revealed; however, reports from 2021 indicated that he had suffered a stroke, leading to fundraisers to support his medical and nursing home expenses.
