Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee has called out artists for promoting music and tours amid the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.
Wildfire Impact on Los Angeles
A series of wildfires that began last Tuesday (January 7) have resulted in the death of 24 people, the evacuation of over 180,000 residents, and the destruction of approximately 12,000 buildings.
On Instagram, Lee expressed: “It fucking pains me to see how most people just care about posting on lame social media! Guys, now no one cares when your record comes out or when at the next concert so many people will be in the middle of one of the greatest disasters of all time!”
He added, “I understand that some comic relief is always needed, but Jesus Christ, leave it all alone and maybe just stop and see who needs help if you can.”
