Walkermere 2.0 combines a list of artists, including Anne Gudrun, Joe Jonas, Daya, Peder Elias, Putri Ariani, Julia Michaels and Wikkstar. The album’s release was celebrated with a special TikTok livestream last Friday, which included performances and discussions with the participating artists.

SoundOn’s Role in the Music Industry

Launched in March 2022, SoundOn provides artists with promotional tools, audience insights, and expert guidance to maximize the reach of their music. Initially available in the UK, US, Brazil, and Indonesia, the service allows artists to upload their music directly to TikTok.

In November 2024, BIE reported that SoundOn had begun signing artists and competing with labels on the charts. British artist Charlie Geer, signed to SoundOn, recently achieved No. 1 on the Spotify Global Daily Viral chart with his song Her Eyes.

Other artists supported by SoundOn are also making waves on official charts in some of the world’s largest recording markets. LionStayTrill, whose track Pink Lemonade reached No. 56 on the UK Official Singles Chart, was featured on various UK radio stations and entered the Spotify Top 200 charts across several global markets.

He joined TikTok in 2022 from Warner Music Group, where he spent eight years in various A&R roles, most recently as A&R Manager/Head of R&A.
