Tiesto Teases Possible Glastonbury Performance

Tiesto has hinted at a potential performance at the Glastonbury Festival in 2025.

Interview Insights

During a recent interview on Capital UKā€™s Evening Show with Jimmy Hill, the Dutch DJ and producer was asked about his plans for the UK festival season. He responded, ā€œIn fact, I work on this, so I have not yet made plans. But maybe Creamfields, maybe Glastonbury, you know, I talk to all these guys, so weā€™ll see. An attempt to find a balance in life!ā€

The Grammy-winning artist has yet to perform at the iconic festival held at Worthy Farm. However, he has graced the Creamfields stage multiple times, most recently headlining the EDM festival in 2023.

In the same year, Tiesto released his seventh and latest studio album ā€œDrive,ā€ featuring collaborations with artists like Charli XCX, Black Eyed Peas, and Tate McRae.

Previously, Tiesto was scheduled to perform at the first Super Cup in Las Vegas, marking a historic DJ event; however, he had to withdraw due to ā€œpersonal familyā€ issues, and was subsequently replaced by a stand-in.

Glastonbury 2025 is set to take place from June 25 to June 29. Recently, the organizers confirmed Nile Rodgers as the first Pyramid Stage headliner for this summer after he initially pulled out. He referred to Glastonbury as a ā€œcorporate shutdownā€ due to his partnership with the BBC, but later clarified that it was a ā€œmistake in the information received.ā€ The singer-songwriter first performed at Glastonbury in 2009.

It was also announced that Rod Stewart will take over the coveted legend slot this year. Nile Rodgers accidentally disclosed in November last year that he and Chic would perform in the slot right after Stewart.

For Glasto ’25, no other acts have been confirmed yet, but the first lineup poster typically arrives in March.

Currently rumored names include Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Fender, 1975, Stevie Wonder, and Alanis Morissette. For a complete list of potential headliners, check out NME.

Tickets for resale are expected to go on sale in the spring. The initial batches sold out quickly in November last year when the festival implemented a new reservation queue.

In other news, Glastonbury has recently showcased new talent this year, giving emerging artists the opportunity to perform at Worthy Farm in June.
