Latest Single Release

In conjunction with the announcement, he released a new single titled “Tokyo Elevator (5 in the Morning),” following last month’s track “No Champagne (6 in the Morning).” This eight-track album features songs inspired by specific morning hours, ranging from 5 AM to noon.

“Tokyo Elevator (5 in the Morning)” is a reflection of the time I spent in karaoke bars until 5 AM,” Clay explains. “Karaoke is all about hit or miss, really depending on the performers and the songs they choose. That particular night was perfect; the music was on point, drinks were flowing, and everyone lost track of time completely.”

Discussing the album’s concept, Clay notes: “Every hour of the day evokes a distinct feeling for me. With this project of eight songs, I aimed to capture the essence of morning as I perceive it, portraying eight separate hours of the day. Some hours feel calm, while others are filled with more energy—my goal was to intertwine these feelings based on the various experiences I had during those times.”

This album follows Clay’s 2023 release “Carpe” and was crafted after his relocation to Philadelphia. Over the year, he wrote more than 60 songs, selecting the final eight tracks based on their connection to specific morning hours.
