Nominees for 2025 Class
The Rock -N -Roll Hall of Fame has revealed its nominees for the 2025 class, featuring White Stripes, Soundgarden, Mariah Carey, Oasis, Outkast, and Phish among the inductees.

The complete list of nominees also includes Joy/New Order, Cyndi Lauper, Billy Idol, Mana, Joe Cocker, Puhnik, Curler, Bad Company, and The Black Crowes.
First-Time Nominees
This year, seven candidates are making their debut on the ballot: Outkast, Phish, Billy Idol, Joe Cocker, Chubby Checker, Bad Company, and The Black Crowes. To be eligible for nomination, artists must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.
The final inductees will be determined by a vote from an international body of more than 1,200 artists, historians, and music industry professionals, as well as a public fan vote conducted on the Rock -N -Roll Hall of Fame website. The 2025 class will be announced at the end of April, with the induction ceremony scheduled to take place in Los Angeles this fall.
This announcement follows the recent induction of Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Matthews of the group, Cher, A Tribe Called Quest, Mary J. Blige, Peter Frampton, Foreigner, and Kool & The Gang.
