Surprise Show in London
The Lumineers have announced details about a surprise intimate show in London that will benefit War Child. Find the details below.
It was revealed today (10 January) that the unique one-off performance will occur at Hoxton Hall in London later this month. Scheduled for January 17, this will be the American indie duo’s first show since they announced their new album, “Automatic”, earlier this week.
Collaboration for a Good Cause
For the upcoming concert, the band has partnered with Child of War. This means all funds raised from the show will support children living in conflict zones.
“We’re incredibly grateful to The Lumineers and their team for donating their time and talents to help raise money for us. I’m sure it will be a beautiful, intimate show at Hoxton Hall, and fans will be in for a real treat,” said Claire Sanders-Wright, head of live music at War Child, in a recent statement.
“No child should ever have to fight in war, and as the past year has been particularly difficult, this means we will need a lot more support in our work, both from the Lumineers and their team, as well as from everyone who donates.” — Sanders-Wright continued. “Every penny raised helps us provide desperately needed emergency aid, mental health support, education, and more to children caught in conflict zones around the world.”
Tickets for the special show at Hoxton Hall will be available through a prize draw. Come here to purchase ballots for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the show. Voting closes at 11:59pm on Tuesday (January 14), and winners will be notified 48 hours before the show begins.
The intimate performance next week precedes The Lumineers’ UK and Ireland tour this May, which includes a show at The O2 in London. Remaining tickets can be found here. Check out the list of dates below.

As noted earlier, The Lumineers announced details of their upcoming fifth studio album, Automatic, this week, accompanied by the lead single “Same Old Song.”
Contributors Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Frates will release the 11-track record on February 14th via Dualtone. Pre-order/save here.
Following up on 2022’s Brightside, the band explained that the record “celebrates 20 years of songwriting” and aims to explore “some of the absurdities of the modern world, such as the increasingly blurred line between what’s real and what’s not, and the different ways we overwhelm ourselves by trying to fight both boredom and overstimulation.”
These exciting announcements follow The Lumineers’ collaboration with Bruce Springsteen and Zach Bryan last August for a live rendition of “Revival,” from Bryan’s 2020 album Elisabeth.
