The guys are back with their new single “Safeandsound” and tease an upcoming album!

New Release Announcement

Parcels have debuted their first track of 2025, 'Safeandsound', along with a captivating music video about the new song.

Recording and Inspiration

This track was recorded live at Golden Retriever Studios in Sydney, with all five members collaborating together in the same room.

Guitarist Jules Kromchelin shared the inspiration behind the song: “The lyrics were influenced by a podcast called ‘Cloud of Insignificance’ by Tom Lutz. He talks about the positive aspects of uncertainty—about not knowing where you are headed in life. His approach to embracing the unknown every day really resonated with me, especially during times when I find myself overwhelmed by thoughts about the future. I aimed to convey a positive outlook through my writing.”

Patrick Heterington reflected on the current creative direction of the group: “This is a deeply personal and introspective experience for all of us, which can sometimes feel uncomfortable. However, I believe this is the essence of Parcels at this time—each of us navigating our unique journeys while collectively creating a space to share and celebrate our experiences.”

“Safeandsound” follows last year’s EP “Leaveyourlove,” which featured collaborations with artists such as King Stingrey, Simen Sarinan, and Robert Owens. The group is set to release a new album this fall.
