Game is providing assistance and supplies to firefighters as they work to control the wildfires in Los Angeles.

Wildfires Cause Significant Damage

Since January 7, wildfires have erupted and spread across the Los Angeles area, resulting in extensive damage, particularly in Pacific Palisades and Altadena. Many residents have had to evacuate as various fire departments and volunteers strive to bring the fires under control.

At the time of writing, the infamous Los Angeles fires have claimed at least 24 lives, damaged more than 12,401 structures, and forced nearly 180,000 residents to flee their homes.

Rapper The Game, whose real name is Jason Taylor, grew up in Los Angeles. In a photo and video shared from the Pasadena Fire Department, he explains that he was distributing “blankets, pillows, coffee, bananas, water, and anything we can provide to assist these firefighters.”
