The Darkness Unveils Emotional New Single “I Hate Myself” Ahead of Upcoming Album

New Single Release

The Darkness has unveiled their latest single 'I hate myself', which is featured on their forthcoming album “Dreams On Toast”.

Collaboration with Simon Emmett

The song will come with a unique music video directed by Simon Emmett. “I enjoy collaborating with Simon Emmett. Every project we’ve worked on has turned out excellently, and this is no exception,” shared frontman Justin Hawkins.

“The theme touches on self-hatred, which is a key element in the lyrics of the song. I believe the visuals elevate the song to another level, and it was already my favorite Darkness track. I am eager for everyone to see it—it holds significant meaning for me… and I’m available to chat. I appreciate all of you. I just hate myself.”
