Tems releases new music video
TEMS has unveiled a new music video for “Boy O Boy,” a track from her debut studio album, “Born in the Wild.”
Visual themes and Grammy achievements
The black-and-white visual style, directed by Loris Zasher and co-written by TEMS, delves into the complexities of relationships. This track is part of her debut album, which was released via RCA Records in ’93.
The Nigerian artist recently marked a milestone by entering the Grammy Awards 2025, becoming the first Nigerian musician to earn multiple Grammy awards after winning Best African Musical Performance for her hit single “Love Me Jeje.”
“Born in the Wild,” which dropped in June of last year, has garnered over 629 million streams globally and debuted at number 5 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart. Thirteen tracks from the album entered the Billboard US Afrobeats chart, with “Me & U” and “Love Me Jeje” both reaching the number 1 spot. Additionally, “Burning” and “Wickedest” peaked at numbers 5 and 8, respectively.
