BeyoncĂ©’s Achievements
For BeyoncĂ©, this appearance comes after she recently received 11 nominations for her eighth studio album “Cowboy Carter.” This includes nominations for Album of the Year and Best Country Album, while the single “Texas Hold ‘Em” earned nods for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
With this year’s nominations, the pop icon has officially become the most nominated artist in the history of the awards. Previously tied with her husband Jay-Z at 88 nominations, she now elevates her total to 99.
Back in 2023, she set the record for the most Grammy wins of all time, boasting 32 trophies to her name.
Meanwhile, Swift is also vying for the Record of the Year and Song of the Year with her track featuring Post Malone, “Nownnight.” Her album “Department of the Poet Department” is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
On Friday (January 24), Chappell Roan, Charlie XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and others were announced as performers, including Billy Eilish, Doechii, Ray, Shakira, Teddy Plavs, and Benson Bun.

Eilish, Roan, XCX, and Carpenter join Beyoncé and Swift as nominees for Album of the Year, while Doechii has four nominations across Best Rap, Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, and Best Remix.
Ray has two nods in the Best New categories and the Song of the Year, while Shakira, Teddy Plavs, and Bun each have one nomination. For Shakira, the nod is in the Best Latin Album category, while Bun and Plavs are nominated for Best New Artist.
Recently, Harvey Mason Jr., the General Director of the Recording Academy, confirmed that the ceremony will proceed as planned despite the catastrophic fires that affected Los Angeles this month, leading to the evacuation of over 180,000 residents.
Mason Jr. also announced that the Grammys will serve as a fundraising event. This initiative comes as the Recording Academy and Musicares launched efforts to assist fire relief in Los Angeles, committing $1 million to “provide both immediate relief and long-term support to individuals and families in the music industry facing displacement and loss due to disaster.”
