Sza’s Deluxe Release Announcement
SZA revealed that the deluxe edition of “SOS,” titled “Lana,” is set to launch this Friday.

The extended edition was unveiled with a fresh video showcasing actor Ben Stiller lip-syncing to the new song “Drive.”
In November 2023, SZA shared insights during an interview with Variety about the inspiration behind the new material: “It had to be very soft because I had all my flashy moments and I just wanted to slide, not think (too much) and get out of my own head – I was so happy to say some stupid thing that didn’t mean anything.”
This release comes after intense speculation regarding whether “Lana” and the deluxe version of “SOS” were indeed the same project, a theory confirmed last week through a trailer. SZA has previously characterized this collection as “featuring outtakes and some new songs.”
The collaboration with Stiller emerges from their exchanges on social media relating to his Apple TV+ series “Severance,” a show SZA is known to admire.
