Swiss DJ Aldanha Passes Away

Swiss techno DJ and producer Aldanha, whose real name was Crystal Margaret, has tragically passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

Family’s Heartfelt Statement

Margaret’s family confirmed her passing on Sunday (January 19), citing an “aggressive form of breast cancer”. “We are all heartbroken,” they shared in a statement to Mixmag.

“She was the most kind, generous, talented, and beautiful person who possessed countless other qualities,” they continued. “Crystal leaves behind a legacy; she was loved by many and will remain in our hearts forever.”

A Musical Journey

Margaret’s introduction to music began early in her life, as she played classical piano at home during her childhood. As a teenager, she gravitated towards dance music, learned to DJ, and later attended London’s Point Blank School of Music.
