UK Tour Recap

The latest announcement came after GAZ COOMBES and Co. shared last year’s UK tour dates, which included performances of their critically acclaimed debut album alongside fan favorites.

The announcement followed some online teasers by the band, revealing tour dates for cities such as Glasgow, Notting, Sheffield, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, and London. Additional performances were scheduled for Bedford Park, Halifax’s Piece Hall, Margate, and a concert at Ludlow Castle.

Now, the group has confirmed six new international dates at the end of this year.

The tour will kick off on September 2, with a performance in Mexico City at Teatro Metropolitan. Following that, the band will have five concerts across the United States, including stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York.

The tour concludes with a final show in Boston on September 12, hosted at MGM Music Hall in Fenway.

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Friday, February 21) at 10 a.m. local time. Visit here to buy tickets and view the full list of dates below.

Released in 1995, “I Owe Coco” debuted at number three. After their appearance at Glastonbury this summer, it climbed to number one, selling over 500,000 copies in the UK. It also achieved the notable feat of being the highest-selling debut album from Parlophone Records since The Beatles.

To celebrate three decades since their debut, Supergrass will also be heading to Australia for a leg of the tour. This portion begins in June, featuring two performances in Melbourne (June 7 and 8), concluding with a stop at the Sydney Opera House and Tivoli Brisbane on June 10 and 11, respectively.

Speaking about the 2025 tour during the end of last year, frontman GAZ COOMBES told NME: “It’s cool, dude. About a year passed. This is just a great record and really means a lot for us.”

“The most wonderful thing is that this record is part of our DNA. It is insane that 30 years later we can still cope with this energetic, young chemistry on stage and read each other in this way. Although this is a 30-year record, we all feel really connected with it.”

He continued: “It will be interesting to go on stage and perform this album for the first time. There are several tracks that we have never performed before, so it is really cool.

Britpop icons Supergrass broke up in 2010 before announcing their return in 2019, aiming to “bring joy to a slightly worried world.” They took a break from touring in 2022 after their performance at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Show at Wembley.

Supergrass was one of the drummer’s favorite bands, and the Foo Fighters star regarded their 1999 album as one of the best of all time.
