Sunflower Beans Release New Single “Refusal of the Myth of Artist Torture,” Titled “Nothing Romantic”

Sunflower Bean Releases New Single

Sunflower Bean has unveiled their latest single, “Nothing Romantic”, which is part of their forthcoming fourth album, “Mortal Primetime”.

Exploring Creativity and Isolation

The track “Nothing Romantic” challenges the notion that artistic pain is essential, emphasizing that the pleasures of creativity shouldn’t stem from personal suffering, according to the band. They further elaborate, “The video encapsulates our experiences as touring musicians navigating through both exhilarating and nightmarish performances. From green rooms to lost highways, our journey from city to city allows us to feel alive solely during our shows. There’s an undeniable contrast between connection and solitude; while on stage we unite and share our music, the loneliness and cost of our sacrifices later haunt us.”
