New Single Release
Sunflower shares a new single 'There is a part that I cannot return' ahead of the final preliminary viewing of “Mortal Primetime”.

The track is part of the fourth album by the New York trio, set to release via Lucky Number this Friday, April 25.
“This song is dedicated to the long-term struggles of dealing with loss—parts of yourself taken away, and the anger you carry as a result,” explains Julia Cumming. “It came to me in such a raw and direct way, with no second guessing or questioning of my feelings. I didn’t want to write a song about healing; I wanted to express the anger I felt in the need to heal. The line: ‘If I die before I wake, I pray that I even have an envelope’ captures the intensity of these feelings, surpassing the bounds of logic.”
Mortal Primetime marks the group’s first independent record, mixed by Caesar Edmunds and designed by Sarah Tudzin.
