Keisha Buchanan’s Car Crash Experience
Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan has opened up for the first time about surviving a car accident that occurred after she “passed out while driving.”
Sharing Her Story on Social Media
Buchanan took to Instagram Stories to reflect on the incident that took place just over a year ago.
“This time last year I passed out while driving. Thank Jesus for my life! Grateful for another year… I'll share more about the cause of the power outage later. Just happy to be here,” she expressed.
In a subsequent post, the singer apologized for not informing her family and friends about the incident earlier.
She added: “Thank you for your lovely messages… to my family and friends, I’m sorry you discovered this through social media a year later. I just didn't want anyone to worry about Christmas.”
Sugababes’ Upcoming Tour Plans
Buchanan has been a part of the Sugababes lineup since their formation in 1998. The original lineup reunited in 2019 with singers Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy.
Since then, they have sold out The O2 in London and performed at significant festivals across Europe. This summer, their performance at the West Holts stage at Glastonbury resulted in the venue being closed to fans due to overwhelming demand.
The trio recently announced their largest UK and European tour in 2025, with stops scheduled at The O2 in London, Co-op Live in Manchester, BP Pulse Live in Birmingham, Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Utilita Arena in Newcastle, and OVO Hydro in Glasgow.
They will begin their tour at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on April 8th and conclude in Glasgow on April 17th.
Following that, the Sugababes will travel to Europe for shows in Antwerp, Amsterdam, Cologne, Berlin, Paris, Zurich, and Milan. You can purchase remaining tickets here for their UK/Ireland shows and here for their European dates.
