Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s New Album Announcement
Sophie Ellis-Bextor has revealed her upcoming eighth studio album “Perimenopop”, set to be released on September 12 through Decca. This announcement is accompanied by the launch of her new single 'Taste', a collaboration with Mnek, along with details about the album’s release event at London’s Koko.

This latest album follows her 2023 entry “HANA” and includes previously released tracks such as “Freedom of the Night”, “Deltess Love”, and “Vertigo.”
“With ‘Taste’, I teamed up with Mnek and Jon Shave to craft a fun, flirty pop song that explores the chemistry between people,” explains Ellis-Bextor. “The allure of being close to someone often stems from their taste in life—that’s what you become captivated by. You crave to share all life’s pleasures with them, as everything they embody feels right to you. All your emotions come alive, creating a true taste of existence.”
Concert Dates and Ticket Information
The album launch at Koko is scheduled for September 8, with pre-sale tickets available to customers who pre-order the album starting May 14, followed by general sales on May 16.
