Sophie Ellis-Bextor has unveiled her first single of 2025, titled “Inexorable Love,” released through Decca.
About The Track
This track, featuring a fusion of funk-pop and disco, was both written and produced by Kid Kid and Kay Karma, with additional contributions from Helse-Besstor and Gingzhin. The mixing was handled by David Kranch.
“Inexorable Love emerged from my fascination with fairs and how love can mirror that experience,” shares Ellis-Bextor. “Ferris wheels and American slides … they can alter your view of reality in a surprising way, providing an exciting shift in perspective, even if just for a fleeting moment. Plus, they’re perfect date spots!”
This release follows her 2024 single “Freedom of the Night.” Ellis-Bextor’s latest album, “HANA,” peaked at number 8 in the UK albums chart upon its release in 2023.
