Release Schedule for 2025
SM Entertainment has revealed its release schedule for the first half of 2025, featuring new music from Aespa, EXO’s Kai, Red Velvet Sub-Unit Irene & Seulgi, and more.
Upcoming Releases in the First Quarter
The report on the income of the South Korean music label in 2024 outlines plans for several releases in both the first and second quarters. In the first quarter, fans can expect new music from Naevis, Seulgi, and Ten of NCT’s Red Velvet. Naevis will debut solo, while Seulgi and Ten are set to drop a mini-album together.
Highlights of the Second Quarter
The second quarter schedule features solo debuts from NCT members Mark and Doyoung, with both artists releasing full-length albums. Additionally, Ten will unveil a Japanese mini-album during this period. EXO’s Kai, who completed his military service on February 10, intends to make a comeback with a new EP, while Red Velvet Sub-Unit Irene & Seulgi will release their first mini-album in nearly five years.
Further Q2 releases include new mini-albums from Aespa, WayV, and NCT Wish. Meanwhile, RIIZE will launch their debut full-length album, and Naevis, SHINee, along with the girl group Hearts2hearts, are expected to release singles during this time.
In celebration of its 30th anniversary, SM Entertainment will host its annual SMTown Live concert in London on June 28.
