SM Entertainment set to launch new girl group Hearts2Hearts in February

SM Entertainment has revealed that a new girl group named Hearts2Hearts will be making their debut next month.

Details about the group and their debut

The South Korean music label, known for housing prominent K-pop acts such as Aespa, NCT, Red Velvet, and EXO, introduced the upcoming girl group during the SMTOWN Live 2025 concerts in Seoul, held on January 11 and 12.

These concerts, taking place at the Gocheok Sky Dome, marked SM Entertainment’s 30th anniversary and featured performances by various artists from the label. Prior to the official announcement of Hearts2Hearts, a teaser video was released.

Hearts2Hearts will consist of eight members and is set to release their debut music on February 24th, making them the first girl group under SM Entertainment in five years, following Aespa’s debut in 2020.

The official X page (formerly Twitter) for the group has already been created, but it is currently private. Although further details about the lineup and debut release are limited, more announcements are anticipated in the upcoming weeks.

Group’s mission and vision

The agency shared a statement with Yonhap News Agency stating that the name Hearts2Hearts represents “their goal to unite with fans from around the world through the mysterious and beautiful world of music, filled with diverse emotions and sincere messages, and to advance together with the great ‘we’.”

SM Entertainment further elaborated in the same statement that the group aims to display “different colors in various aspects,” including music, performance, and visuals, “drawing on our unique cultural heritage developed over time and strong planning capabilities.”

In other K-pop news, (G)I-DLE vocalist Minnie has recently unveiled the tracklist for her upcoming solo debut album titled “Her.” This seven-track album will feature the title track of the same name and collaborations with bandmate Yuqi on “Drive U Crazy” and NCT’s Ten on “Obsession.” “Her” is set to be released on January 21st.
