New Single Release
SKEGSS has premiered their latest single “So AGAVENT” via Loma Vista Recordings.
Collaboration and Inspiration
The song was produced in collaboration with Chris Collins, who has previously teamed up with the band on their albums “Rehearsal” and “My Some Mess.” This release comes as the group embarks on their five-city tour across North America.
“This song came together really quickly in the studio; we spent a couple of days working on the structure, but it felt like a delightful burst of creativity,” said singer and guitarist Ben Reid. “Instead of making things more complex, let’s all just agree to enjoy the same things that resonate with us. I hope you grab a cold beer and enjoy it. We all have a past, and we all have a future. Cheers! 🍻”
Regarding the video directed by Kal Neville, Reid commented: “The video also came together swiftly, and Kal did an excellent job of interpreting the lyrics and vision and bringing it to life. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to this project and for the tremendous effort they put in on such short notice. It was an incredibly joyful day when we filmed it; there’s something magical about facing creative challenges together.”
