The track features all three artists coming together to create a slick and captivating dancefloor anthem. “You know you love me like a webcam girl / Webcam, webcam, webcam girl” Shygirl sings over a pulsating, Caribbean-inspired beat.

Honduran native Isabella Lovestory contributes a haunting verse in her native Spanish, while PinkPantheress follows with her ethereal and soft vocals in the third verse: “True religion, rise no higher / True religion, you inspire.”

Upcoming EP Release

“True Religion” will be the third single from Shygirl’s upcoming EP “Club Shy Room 2,” which is set to drop on February 28th. This song follows the previously released “F*Me” featuring Yseult and “Immaculate” featuring Saweetie.

Club Shy Room 2 was co-produced by Mura Masa and Oscar Scheller, featuring guest appearances from Nick Leon and Blue May. The EP also includes contributions from artists such as Jorja Smith, BAMBII, and SadBoi.

In her social media announcement for the “Club Shy Room 2” EP, Shygirl mentioned that the collection would serve as “just something to keep the party going.”

Shygirl released her debut studio album “Nymph” in 2022. In a four-star review, NME praised the artist for crafting “a brilliant collage of club sounds, each element of which is entirely unique in its execution.”

It added: “After tirelessly working on her long-awaited debut album for several years, the payoff was clearly worth it: this record is a powerful reminder of why Shygirl is one of the capital’s brightest talents.”

Since then, she has shared the “Club Shy” EP and its accompanying project “Club Shy RMX.”

Shygirl recently supported Charli XCX on her Brat UK tour, which included performances in Manchester, London, Birmingham, and Glasgow. She also collaborated with Charli on a rework of the song “365” from her remix album Brat. NME has called this collaboration “two minutes of pure, unadulterated hedonism.”
