Upcoming Tours and Albums
For my chemical novel, the festival will come after the completion of their sold-out round in North America 2025, where they sold 365,000 tickets in just a few hours. Fans took to social media to express their confusion over the high ticket prices for the stadium.
According to a Ticketmaster website screenshot, tickets were priced from approximately $63.50 to $695 (around £50.30 to £550.58). “$695 is a ridiculous amount, consider your days, my chemical novel!!!!” one fan wrote on X/Twitter.
The former drummer of the group, Bob Bryar, passed away in November at the age of 44. He played with the group from 2004 to 2010.
Blink-182 will also perform this year at the When We Were Young festival, which has just announced a second date on October 19. Bassist and singer Mark Hoppus is touring the USA to promote his memoir, Fahrenheit-182, which was released on April 8.
Blink announced the release of “Reading” in 2024. The project received a four-star review from NME, noting, “This set marks the long-awaited return for pioneers of pop-punk, and it is clear that the band members are not letting go of the charm that initially earned them headliner status.”
“Despite their recent struggles, their dynamics in 2024 feel more nuanced than in the past, with a slight demonstration pushing them beyond the realm of nostalgia into a timeless experience.”
As for Deftones, they will be touring Europe this summer, including shows at the Eden Project in Cornwall and Crystal Palace Park in London.
