Sony Music Publishing Great Britain Announces Leadership Change
Sony Music Publishing Great Britain has appointed Sarah Gabrielly as the new head of A&R.
Gabrielly will remain based at the company’s London office, reporting to David Ventura, the President and Director of Management of SMP UK & SVP International.
New Responsibilities for Gabrielly
In her expanded role, Gabrielly will lead the A&R team in the UK, focusing on “promoting creative strategy and broadening opportunities for songwriters both in the UK and internationally,” as stated by the company on April 7.
During her time with SMP, Gabrielly has achieved notable success, including collaborating with the globally recognized artist Charli XCX in 2024.
The artists under Gabrielly’s supervision include Artemas, Beabadobi, Sian Ducrot, Jim Lyamykhks, Joe Rable, Damexdam, Joe Caleb, and Jordan Rakei. She also partners with talents like Two Inch Punch, Sad Night Dynamite, Volume Mann, Pouring Silvoy, Sigrid, Sampa, Arlo Parks, and more.
In recognition of her creative contributions, Gabrielly received the A&R of the Year award at the Music Business UK Awards in November, an event presented by MBW in collaboration with YouTube.
Gabrielly joined the company in 2016 as an A&R assistant and most recently served as the Senior Director of A&R for the UK & Europe.
