Star-Studded Performances
Today (February 20), the organizers confirmed that this year’s F1 will showcase an “eclectic combination of British musical heavyweights,” following a record attendance of 480,000 last year.
Fender, whose third album “People Watching Tomorrow” releases on February 21, is scheduled to perform at Silverstone on Thursday, July 3. Ray will follow with his first UK performance of 2025 the next day (Friday, July 4).
Joining the lineup are Fatboy Slim (headlining on Saturday, July 5) and Becky Hill (headlining on Sunday, July 6).
Hill expressed her excitement, stating: “I can’t wait to return to Silverstone to close out the Grand Prix weekend at the British Formula 1 Grand Prix. It’s going to be an electrifying weekend both on the track and on stage!”
In the upcoming weeks, additional support acts for the Grand Prix and Formula 1 at Silverstone will be announced, along with further entertainment details. Tickets are currently available – You can purchase yours here.
Nick Reed, the Chief Commercial Director of Silverstone, commented: “Over the past few years, we have transformed Silverstone into a world-class venue that attracts the biggest and best artists, providing unforgettable experiences. It is a tremendous honor to announce Sam Fender, Ray, Fatboy Slim, and Becky Hill as our star-studded headliners for the British Grand Prix, Formula 1 2025.
“Following the incredible success of last year’s music lineup, we knew we had to raise the bar even higher. We are thrilled to offer a lineup that showcases homegrown talent at the peak of their careers.”
The British Grand Prix in 2024 featured performances from Kings of Leon, Stormzy, Pete Tong, and Rudimental at Silverstone.
Fender is also set to headline the Radio 1 Big Weekend 2025 in May, ahead of his major concerts at stadiums in London and Newcastle this summer. Last week, the singer-songwriter announced additional outdoor shows across the UK and Ireland, including Manchester, Edinburgh, and Belfast. Find tickets here.
Next month, Fender is expected to perform at the Brit Awards 2025, where he is nominated for Artist of the Year and Alt/Rock. Recently, he shared a sneak peek of his new album “People Watch” with the single “Remember My Name”.
Meanwhile, Ray will headline this year’s workshops alongside central SI and the child prodigy. She is also set to headline all points in the East for 2025 in London this August, supported by Tila, Dochia, and former Little Mix member Jade.
Ray received two Grammy nominations earlier this month for Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical), but unfortunately left empty-handed. Nonetheless, she delivered an epic performance of “Oscar of the Victim Tears” during the ceremony.
