Ronnie Radke Reported to Police for “Unacceptable” Videos Concerning Australian Politicians

Controversial Video Sparks Police Report

Ronnie Radke reported an “unacceptable” video to the Tasmanian police, which he created involving Australian politicians.

The situation arose when Lonseston’s mayor, Matthew Harwood, shared a photo meeting the controversial Falling in Reverse frontman on March 16. He did not receive a particularly warm reception, leading Harwood to apologize for the post.

Response to Concerns About Radke

On March 21, Radke retained an ABC report (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), highlighting concerns expressed by advisers Andrea Dworkin and Lindy McMahon regarding Lonseston women, who were troubled by the potential repercussions of the photo, given Radke’s controversial past. He has previously faced accusations of violence, rape, assault, and transphobia, which he has consistently denied.

In response to the report, Radke posted: “Imagine that ABC News is grasping at straws to boost their poor ratings by making articles about the mayor of Tasmania photographed with me. Hey, @abc, I’m more than you. And they have more influence. Nothing can do anything, propagandist.”

He subsequently released a video condemning the network, calling it “propaganda pieces of shit” and urged fans to give Dworkin “the mockery it deserves.”

Radke’s Rants Against Critics

“I am following you next time. Australian advice on advice and all of you, fuck you … You guys are such damn bitches of pussy,” he said before directing his anger at McMahon. “Damn you, are you kidding me, you ugly, hell, a piece of shit blockhead, disgusting damn human? Fuck you. You know about me, damn it, I was accused by a woman, and they had to conduct DNA tests for an hour, and it turned out that she was lying. Then I had to sue for millions?”

“You understand that everything you read can or cannot be damn true, are you a stupid bitch? You are a shame on this whole city, and I will make sure you feel it.”

In a later video, he disclosed Dworkin’s phone and email addresses. “(I) would love for this and for what you get, like a ton of emails and calls about how you want to discuss equality, bitches? Why I’m not turned on, you damn Lego-head.”

On March 22, Radke released another video. “@GirlCalledcatie and @lindimcmahon can get this too. You all deserve this shit, I just fuel your damn economy, and this is the gratitude I receive.”

He continued to call McMahon derogatory names and displayed a picture of a sloth from the movie “Goonies,” suggesting that ABC should “get away from the office.”

Now, both Rolling Stone Australia and Dumb Magazine report that Radke has been reported to the Tasmanian police.

Launceston’s CEO, Sam Johnson, confirmed this on the official Launceston Instagram account.

City’s Stance on Radke’s Actions

“The city of Lonseston condemns the dangerous and irresponsible actions of American singer Ronnie Radke, who has used his social media platform to incite persecution and abuse against selected advisers,” the post commenced.

“His recent Instagram video, which targets and intimidates advisers who expressed concern about the photograph with the mayor, is not only reckless but completely unacceptable.”

“Advisers are required to represent the interests of the community without fear of intimidation or abuse. No individual – celebrity or otherwise – has the right to weaponize their platform against those exercising their democratic right to vote.”

“Radke’s actions pose an excessive risk to the safety and well-being of advisers and their families, creating a hostile environment that contradicts the principles of free speech, accountability, and civil discourse.”

“The Council will not tolerate threats or persecution directed at elected members or employees. We will collaborate closely with the Tasmanian police to address the situation and ensure that those responsible for any offensive or threatening behavior face appropriate consequences.”

“We urge Radke to immediately retract his inflammatory statements and take responsibility for the harm caused by his words. We have reported the video on Instagram and call on this and any other social media platforms to take swift action to address the misuse of their services to instigate targeted harassment.”

“The city of Lonseston is committed to serving our community with integrity and transparency. Attempts to intimidate or silence advisers or employees will not be tolerated, and we will continue to uphold the values of democracy, respect, and public service.”

Falling in Reverse was set to perform its first-ever UK shows in December, but the tour was canceled when Radke was denied a visa due to his prior incarceration.

According to Gov.uk, candidates convicted of a criminal offense either in the UK or abroad and who served at least 12 months will be denied a visa application.

Per Billboard, the altercation in 2006 in Nevada resulted in the death of 18-year-old Michael Cook, leading to Radke’s probation for his involvement, though he did not directly commit the act. Nonetheless, two years later, Radke violated his probation, resulting in a prison sentence of two and a half years from 2008 to 2010.

In response, Radke argued that this cancellation would have a “giant economic blow” to the UK.
