Rilo Kili’s Upcoming Tour and Album Release
Rilo Kili has announced the dates for their first race of the Tour Hedliners, scheduled for spring 2025, along with plans for a special reissue of their second album.
North American Tour Details
The reunited band will embark on a North American tour, kicking off at the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo. The tour will cover various locations on the West Coast of the United States and Canada, featuring a performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater.
“It will be wonderful for us, for example, to return to the cleanest version of ourselves, a place at the age of 20, where everything is possible,” shares Jenny Lewis. “You are in the van, and Jason (Bozel) has a map, Pierre (de Reader) is driving, and I’m strumming an acoustic guitar on a bench, developing a new song with Blake (Sennette). I don’t think it was ever the same. It’s great when it was just us against the world.”
Special Album Reissue
The group will also release The Execution of All Things (Frozen Lake Edition), a reissue of their 2002 album via Saddle Creek Records. This reprint will be available in three formats: a Deluxe LP on cloudy transparent and cream vinyl, a limited 7-inch release on transparent vinyl, a standard LP on cloudy vinyl, and a CD.
