In other news, earlier this year, it was reported that Red Hot Chili Peppers are looking to sell their recorded music catalog for $350 million.

The band currently owns the masters and rights to all 13 studio albums and other releases published through Warner Music, though it remains unclear if they own the masters for the first four albums released through EMI.
