This year, the double festival will take place from August 21 to 24. In December, the first wave of artists was confirmed, including headliners Chappell Roan, Travis Scott, and Bring Me the Horizon.

Now, organizers have added even more names to the lineup, including legendary Nu-Metal band Limp Bizkit, who will grace the main stage with classic hits like “Break Stuff,” “Nookie,” “My Way,” and others. Their performance will be followed by a headlining set from Sheffield’s metal titans, Bring Me the Horizon.

D-Block Europe is also a notable addition, recently achieving the milestone of being the first British rap act to sell out four consecutive nights at the O2 Arena. Like Limp Bizkit, they will perform on the main stage right before Travis Scott, who will present his only European show at R&L shortly after.

Indie artist Bakar will make his return to the Reading & Leeds lineup, alongside acts like Good Youngbors, Roxham Viral Duet, Liverpool’s Red Rum Club, pop-punk group Culture, and Manchester’s Jasmine.4.t.

NME alumni Nemzzz have also joined the 2025 lineup, alongside fellow artists from previous features like Star and Heartworms.

“Playing Reading and Leeds is like a pilgrimage to the heart of British music culture that we admired on YouTube as kids,” Stellar stated in a recent announcement. “We will have something new to share, making this a perfect kickoff for the next era of our journey.”

Additional new acts include example, Badger, Matilda Mann, Snayx, Pozer, Jazzy, Nell Mesal, Vlure, and Balu Brigada among others. Check the new poster below.

Festival Director’s Insights

“There truly is something for everyone at Reading and Leeds this year. The response to the lineup has been incredible, and the latest additions bring even more excitement,” said Melvin Benn, managing director of Festival Republic. “We know Limp Bizkit and D-Block Europe will energize the crowds; they won’t disappoint. You’ll also discover countless artists making their names known this summer.”

In addition to the headliners for 2025, several other acts were also announced in December, including Aj Tracey, Becky Hill, Amil, and Snowygen, along with Enter Shikari and Bloc Party, who are set to play the first Icon slot in festival history.

News of the 2025 lineup additions follows Melvin Benn’s conversation with NME earlier this month, where he shared insights about the festival’s “first-world” plans and major upgrades to their camping options this year.

Organizers have detailed a comprehensive revision of the camping experience, introducing what they label as “the most significant change in festival camping over their 55-year history and the largest overhaul in British festival culture.”

Five new campsites will be available, allowing music fans to customize their weekend experience without additional costs. Check out the details here.

Regarding Bring Me the Horizon’s ascension to the top of the bill for 2025 after co-headlining with Arctic Monkeys in 2022, Benn remarked, “They are one of the most incredible bands to work with.”

“I can’t quantify their worth, but it seems no matter the fee, they are committed to delivering a spectacular production and visual experience for fans,” he continued. “This is a testament to the band’s desire to please their fans. Their last performance in 2022 was extraordinary, and they will undoubtedly top it this time.”

The major highlights of the 2024 festival included Liam Gallagher, Lana Del Rey, Fred Again.., Blink-182, and Jerry Koynamon heading the lineup. You can find NME’s highlights from this publication here.
