Future Plans and Reflections

The recently announced date at the arena will follow Razorlight’s support slots for James during their massive summer 2025 tour in the UK, alongside their own UK tour starting in April. Check the full list of dates here to buy tickets.

Borrell recently spoke with NME about the motivation behind creating this full-length record, sharing that he had considered ending the group if they couldn’t produce new music.

“I told everyone: ‘If the new music doesn’t work, let’s move on.’ I was prepared to give Razorlight a ceremonious farewell,” he explained. “It would have been a significant moment—I’ve thought of various ways to end this, some perhaps involving Japanese swords. But I wanted to complete this album.”

Borrell also reflected on the band’s breakthroughs in the mid-2000s: “We all recognized the absurdity of our situation. You can’t be in such high demand and not think: ‘This isn’t completely normal.’”

“In retrospect, I’ve had plenty of time to contemplate. Yes, it certainly wasn’t normal. It was extraordinary. The apex of that experience is what I feel when Razor plays together. When we take the stage, it’s a feeling I haven’t experienced anywhere else.”
