Radiohead Returns to Live Performance
Radiohead is set to make a comeback to live performances, with their management announcing the tour dates for 2025.
Auction for Concert Tickets
As reported by Resident Advisor, the band’s management has donated four tickets to a Radiohead concert of the winner’s choice for an auction in Los Angeles at Palisades High School. The auction details show that the winner can select their preferred city and date from the band’s upcoming tour schedule.
Upcoming Performances and Partnerships
Sources close to the band have revealed that Radiohead is planning a series of residency performances in selected European cities this fall. These shows will mark the group’s first live performances since their last tour, “A Moon Shaped Pool,” concluded at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on August 1, 2018.
The confirmation of live performances comes in the wake of the formation of a new limited liability partnership, Rheuk25. All five members—Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, and Philip Selway—are listed as officers in this partnership, which mirrors their previous LLP structure before significant group activities.
“I don’t know about it and frankly, I don’t care in the summer,” York stated earlier to Double J when asked about speculation regarding the band’s future. “No one is offended by anyone; it’s all a misunderstanding. Thank you for your concern. But I believe we’ve earned the right to do what makes sense for us, without having to justify ourselves or adhere to anyone’s historical expectations of what we should do.”
