New Single Release
Radio Free Alice has unveiled their latest single “empty words” just before their upcoming SXSW appearances and a summer residency in the UK.
Song Background
This track was composed and recorded during a break from their show in London last year, serving as the first glimpse of their forthcoming project scheduled for release in 2025.
“Empty words emerged from a jam session, much like the majority of our songs,” the band shares. “It was during a lull between performances while we were in the UK last year. The lyrics reflect a feeling of social stagnation that resonates with many young people in our generation.”
The Naarm/Melbourne quartet comprises Noah Lyrmont on vocals and guitar, Jules Paradiso on guitar, Michael Phillips on bass and saxophone, and Louds giving rhythm on drums. Formed in Gadigal Land/Sydney in 2020 before relocating to Melbourne, they gained recognition through their Polyester EP, which led to an extensive tour across the UK and Europe. The group also supported The Murderers during their Australian tour and completed the Angella national title.
