Upcoming Album Details
The iconic Britpop band has recently revealed news about their upcoming album “More,” set to debut on June 6 through Rumble Trade.
Following the release of the small “Spike Island” in April, Pulp has now confirmed that the “Spike Island” will be issued on vinyl on May 23, marking the first vinyl release produced by James Murphy in 2013, titled “after you.”
“After the overwhelming (and mental) reaction to the digital release of ‘Spike Island,’ the song will be available on a 7-inch piece of vinyl,” they shared on social media. ”
They also announced a “new and unheard” track named “Open String” will be featured on the b-side, stating that it is “the only other completed song that will be recorded on the album with James Ford.”

Rumors about Pulp’s return began circulating after the group signed a new record deal with Rumble Trade last year, following their reunion in 2023 for their first show since 2012. They performed new songs, including “Farmer’s Market,” “Spike Island,” “My Sex,” “Must Be Love,” “Background Noise,” and “Sunset.”
Revealing their album “More” in April—their first new record in 24 years—Pulp confirmed to BBC 6 Music that this album was in the making for a while, and the anticipation for the release felt like “all my life.”
“(The live performances) had a significant impact on this—what we played, and the songs came back to life,” Kocker added. “We played one new song at the end of the tour, and no one threw things at us or left for the bar. We decided to do it quickly … I wanted to put it out there.”
Tracklist for “More”:
- 'Spike Island'
- 'Tina'
- 'Adults'
- 'Slow Jam'
- 'Farmer’s Market'
